CommentsDevious CommentsWOW, thanks. I really wanna hug you right now XD
Also, yeah, I understand what you say about the wall... you would feel like you've already seen my bedroom And thanks for this... I really apreciate what you think. -- "...Like scarecrows that fuel this flame we're burning Forever, and ever Know how much I want to show you you're the only one Like a bed of roses there's a dozen reasons in this gun..." ★Join To *PhotomanipulatorClub★ |
I'm in love with this picture. I think that it's simple, but at the same time, it makes you think. When I look at this photo, I can sense many things, such as the feel of my fingers on the keys of the piano, the sound of the violin beside me, and the pure passion I feel for music.
I know that some people don't feel the way I do about music, but I think this picture could certainly fill one with such sentiment.
Now, aside from the impact, let's go to technique. You used a very practical approach and made it beautiful in the simplicity - the lighting adds to the effects of the picture, including the emotion and the feel.
The fact that it's black and white didn't even hit me until I started writing this critique. The picture came alive so quickly that I didn't even focus on such a basic element of art!
Onto originality... I've seen pictures of instruments before, yes, but I don't think I've seen a picture - especially involving two instruments - that can make you feel as much as this picture made me. You know, I've seen a picture of a violin's strings and the keys of a piano; simple, but nice.
When you put something like those two together and make them more three dimensional, it makes me feel like I'm there. Let me explain. You put the wall behind the piano in the picture - I can see it behind the piano. It's not just the instruments. I actually feel like I'm in the room. I hope that makes sense.
Finally, about the vision... I'd like to say that if you were trying to make the viewer feel the way you do about the music, you've accomplished it gracefully and beautifully. If you wanted them to enjoy the photo, I think you've accomplished that as well.
Overall, I think this photo is a major success. Thank you so much for allowing the viewers to critique; but one more thing...
Keep it up! You're going to go far with your talent.
Thank you again for this opportunity to give critique. It's been an honor!
